Brittany Triggs
Brittany is a Senior Staff Attorney at the ECBA Volunteer Lawyers Project, Inc. in Batavia, New York. In her role she provides universal representation to immigrants detained at the Buffalo Federal Detention Facility and mentors staff attorneys. Before going to law school, Brittany taught English in Honduras, served as an AmeriCorps VISTA at Legal Aid Chicago (formally LAF) in the Immigrant and Worker’s Rights Project, and served a second year working at Americans for Immigrant Justice and Florida International College of Law Immigration Clinic. During law school at the University of Cincinnati College of Law, Brittany was an Arthur Russel Morgan Fellow in International Human Rights as well as a Weaver Institute Fellow in Law and Psychiatry. Brittany graduated with a BA from the University of Evansville. She is fluent in Spanish.
