Statement of Solidarity with AAPI Community

We are heartbroken and horrified at the murders of eight people in Atlanta earlier this week, six of whom were of Asian descent. This act of cowardice is yet again another illustration of the pervasive effects of systemic racism and the dehumanization of communities of color in the United States.

Amidst the Covid-19 Pandemic and on the heels of intolerable, hate-filled rhetoric, violence against AAPI communities has steadily increased. Immigrant ARC stands in solidarity with the Asian American and Pacific Islander community. We stand in unity, shoulder to shoulder, and will continue to fight to make America a safe and just place for all.
