Caroline Cohen
Caroline is a full-time law student at New York Law School and a graduate of Muhlenberg College.
In college, Caroline pursued the Accelerated 3-Year Program and studied Political Science, African History, and Business Administration. With a focus on international politics and foreign policy, she worked on notable projects such as "Surveillance and Intimidation: The Morality of Drone Warfare" and "Understanding Sephardic and Mizrachi Identity through Jewish History." In her third and final year, she presented her thesis, "Combating Violent Extremism in Morocco Through Preventative Measures."
After college, Caroline pursued her dream of becoming a lawyer. Merging her passion for policy and history, she found immigration law and litigation. In law school, Caroline serves as a student ambassador and an Executive Board member on both the Dispute Resolution Team and Immigration Law Students Association.
With a dedication to immigration law and public interest Caroline focuses primarily on asylum and refugee law, and immigration detention, and advocates for equitable legal services for immigrants. Now, Caroline is ImmigrantARC’s Research Associate for Lenni Benson.
In her free time, her hobbies include video editing and collecting vinyl records.
