Gabriela MacPherson

Gabriela is a full-time law student at New York University and a graduate of The College of William & Mary, where she studied Anthropology and Art History.

A proud Latina and daughter of a Colombian immigrant, Gabriela found herself drawn to studying Latin American history, migration studies, and critical histories of colonialism and scientific racism during her time in undergrad. Before law school, she worked in various capacities at several immigrant-serving non-profits, including Wind of the Spirit Immigrant Resource Center, the New York Immigration Coalition, and Riverside Language Program. Gabriela came to law school dedicated to working in the public interest, specifically in fighting for the just treatment of immigrants, BIPOC communities, and LGBTQ+ communities.

In her free time, she enjoys experimenting with new dishes to cook and visiting art exhibits.
