Karen Lucas

Karen Siciliano Lucas, Esq. is the Principal of KESL Consulting, LLC, an independent consulting firm that specializes in supporting nonprofits with program planning, partnership development, and advocacy to enhance access to counsel and access to justice for all immigrants. Ms. Lucas is an attorney and advocate with deep expertise in immigration policy and strategic leadership. Prior to launching her consulting practice, Ms. Lucas served as the Managing Director for Programs and Strategy with the American Immigration Council and Director of their Immigration Justice Campaign. Ms. Lucas also has years of lobbying and administrative advocacy experience with the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA) and Catholic Legal Immigration Network, Inc. (CLINIC).

Ms. Lucas received her J.D. from Georgetown University Law Center and her A.B. from Princeton University. She has been licensed to practice law in New York since 2003.
